Do you ever stop crying?

I feel like I have cried all the tears I can cry. I am struggling with this new journey in my life and feel like I am a basket case. I have always been pretty strong and can not remember a time in my life where I have cried so much. My son has no idea how much I am hurting and I feel I can not even talk to him right now about those feelings because I will end up balling. I don't think that is what he needs. He has been his usual self, hard to even speak to about anything. I feel like I am an ano… Continue

It's quite alright! You have just been on my mind lately. I pray that Dayken is doing alright and I know you will be so happy to have him home again. I wish him the very best. He is obviously a very bright young man. So wish that I could have met him. Curtis is taking test 10 today which means only 2 more tests to go. He is having a rough time with the tests. He told me that he volunteered for the FMF but you never know what you are going to get. He just wants to get out of the training, then he said things should start to get better for him.

Teri, I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays (in case I dont get to talk to you before then!!)!!
Your friend,
Pam

Okay, first of all, I saw and did alot of hugging in the hall immediately after PIR. So I think that is false. What they will do is tell the Sailors they have 5 minutes to get out of the hall or else they will have to stay and clean it. So if he tells you that he has "to go", that is why. When Curtis told me that I thought he had to go to the other base for the briefing, but as it turned out he was able to stay with us for the day on Friday. As for where they can go after A school, I think, it all depends on the kind of grades they receive and where the Navy needs them at the time. Curtis said that they could send him either to Fleet Marine Force, Japan or a military hospital in the US. And if they make good grades and excel, I believe they have the opportunity to go to a specialty school for further education. I have heard that they could send you to FMF whether it is where you want to go or not.

Did I tell you that Curtis passed his first test with a 91? I was so relieved!! He's not feeling well right now. It sounds like he has a head cold or sinus infection. Have you heard any more from Dayken?
