So sorry it took me so long to respond..I so sorry to hear about your Son getting hurt I hope that he is doing better now and everything is ok. Please let me know how he is doing.
Yes my Son has been in 11yrs and plans on staying in for 20yrs at least, with the way things are now days at least I know that he has a job. I don't like him being so far away but sometimes we have to take the good with the bad and make the best of things. He likes what he does and is happy so that is a good thing. Of coarse he doesn't like being away from his family when he has to be but that is also part of the job.
Keep in touch and I'm glad U found this site it is a good place to find support. I requested that we be friends if U would like.

Terri I am so sorry to hear about your son getting hurt. I know how you feel about the worrying about them and then knowing they are hurt and you can't be there with them makes it that much more difficult. I hope you are doing better now. I am just so proud of all of them for hanging in there and wanting to complete their basic training. I hope rehab goes well for him. I am sure that was painful for him. The last call from Niki sounded like it was mostly her ankle..not half as seriou as Josh's injury.
Please let me know how is progresses. I don't know what I would have done if it hadn't have been for this site and all of the wonderful people I have met on here.
Prayers are with you and Josh...He and Niki may know each other since they are both in there. I call her Niki but they call her by her first name in there which is Tiffany.

My son was supposed to PIR on October 16th, but didn't due to a BC injury. I just want him to know that we are here for him, no matter how long it takes, and will be there when it happens.
