Profile Information

About me:
My name is Terry and I have 4 children 2 girls and 2 boys. I have 4 grandchildren. My youngest son has just joined the Navy. My oldest son was a U.S. Marine until 2007.
My husand and I are Navy veterans. Our family has a long military history. My father, father-in-law and my brother are Navy veterans as well.
I'd say we are patriotic.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Try to have patience. It's hard but nothing moves quickly in the military.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Military Mom, Sorry I haven't gotten back with you but I didn't know that I would receive messages on my "page" which I haven't set up yet due to confusion in my brain...what I have left after dealing with all my cherubs on my school bus runs. Chris was dropped from EOD and is now in Corpsman A School, he is a EPO (tutor) due to high grades--shocker--and APO (leads PT) and is scheduled to finish A school July 16th. Thanks for letting me know that your son is same PIR. Keep me posted. Ruth

Hi Terry...Yes, I think Michael is about a month ahead of Ryan. I was kinda following Michael's progress with Bill Sick's son, Brett, as their PIR was the same date. And, wouldn't you know, both Michael and Brett started ATT school the same day. I knew it would be close, but the same day really blew my mind. Have a great day!
