Theresa thanks for stopping by my page. How is Ayanda enjoying Jacksonville, FL? I will definitely keep Mohagany's name in my prayers. I have faith that everything will work out for her good. When you write or talk to her remind her to keep God first in everything she do. Please give us a update. In the midst of everything I also pray that God will give you strength.

Hello Theresa,

I saw your request in Testimony Time and thought you'd like to know about this Group started by Angela as well:

http://www.navyformoms.com/group/prayerwall

Dolores and the other Prayer Warriors there will join you in lifting Mohagany up so she can see this challenge through, lifted on wings of eagles. =) You are a wise and Goldy mother, counseling her as you have. Now, you may want to join another Group during this bump in the road time, so that you may receive support until she passes and then minister to others when their female child stumbles and falls short on their run. It is a discouraging time for them, a worrisome time for us, but one filled with growth and lessons of perseverance and God's faithfulness.

The average Recruit is there 10-14 days, many much shorter. I'm sure she'll be done and on her way very soon. God Bless you and your two Navy children! Here you go, first a Group for all parents of male and female Recruits on Ship 06, in the FIT programs, then one for females only. Shannon, Raven's Mom has been down that road and advised many Moms since:

Hope those help! :-)

Theresa,

Welcome aboard. My son is in Div 903 ship 06. I just want you to know that you have Sailor Angels all around you and your daughter. The group from 06 is a great group for your daughter and hopefully they will encourage and support her through this difficult time. As mom's we are all here for you too. I am glad that you are getting updated info from Patty. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Theresa,
I am thinking about you and Mohogany right now. Jillian told me that unfortunately Mohogany still missed her run and didn't get to do Battlestations last night. I feel so sad for her, but I am not giving up hope or praying for her. Will they let her try again before Friday and still do Battlestations? She is SOOO CLOSE!

Theresa,
Those kids all sounded like they were having so much fun on that bus to the VFW yesterday. I am very confident that Mohogany will do just fine. There are so many of us praying for her success now. We too got about 3 calls and it was so wonderful after going for 7 weeks without any calls. I was forgetting what my girl sounded like. I miss her so much as I'm sure you miss yours. This is a great thing our girls (and your son) are doing. I feel very proud of them all right now!

Oh Theresa,
I am so sorry! But that was a very beautiful thing you said to her about the race being given to those that endureth to the end. I love that! What a great mom you must be so leave her with such an inspiring thought. And I will pray, pray, pray for her to complete her run in time for battlestations and graduation. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day tomorrow! And please keep in touch and let me know how she makes out. 6 seconds is so little. She can do it! And they will help her! Keep the faith!

Theresa,
Have you gotten any more calls from Mohogany today? If not, that must mean she passed her run. I am praying that is the case. I see you joined the PIR group. I am so happy. We have so much fun there. And I hope you can make it to the meet and greet too! Did Mohogany give any specifics about when their Battlestations is? I am so excited now that you said that because I didn't expect them to be doing it early next week. I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself!

Hi Theresa,
I'm Katrina. My son is in Div 803. He's SWCC. What is it like for you having two kids in the military? Wow, I thought one was rough! You must be so proud! I look forward to seeing you at the Meet and Greet.
