Hello Leslie, Hope you had a fabulous weekend with your son, we had a fantastic time with ours. I wish we had sat with you ladies a little higher, but my ex and his wife were there and they felt out of place and asked us to sit with them. I love your pictures, expecially the one they picked to be featured.

It's amazing, that our young men left for Boot Camp as Young Men, but Boot Camp has turned them all into "MEN", my son seems to walk taller...he seemed so confident in all he did this weekend.

BTW, Thank you for the scarf...it came in handy all weekend.

Blessings,
Suzanne

Hello Leslie, Did you have a great time with you sailor? I know we sure did, it was the most incredible event ever, it will stay with me forever. I wish I would have sat up higher with you ladies, but my ex and his wife were there and they felt out of place so they asked us to sit with them. I was so focused on my son that I didn't really even notice the rest of the division. I love your pictures, the one that has been featured is really good. Where does Thomas go from here? Blessings, Suzanne

Mama T, I seen in the begining of your page that you were hoping through this military experience that your son will have become more disciplined, has he? Andre seems more calm and he has more patience. His attitude has changed for the better otherwise he is my same Andre and I love him to death!

Profile Information

About me:
I am a single mom, who encouraged her son to join for the benefits of learning discipline, self-esteem and pride in a job well done, as well as for the educational, and travel opportunities. I did a good job at teaching him to be honest, fair, compassionate, loving, and kind – but I wasn’t as good at the discipline as I should have been – so I am hoping the Navy can pick up where I left off and teach him the things I didn’t to help him become a well rounded man.
I am here to support or represent my:
Thomas
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I am so new to this I still have so much to learn!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Thomas is MY Tenderheart!
