OK... What's a guy gotta do to get his son's address to the hospital over there? To talk to my son, it's nearly impossible for him to "get an address" to me. He said something about his box number.

@ Sherri. He left from Pendleton as well. I believe he had a report date of August 5th.
He's been in Okinawa for about 3 weeks now. He's been on facebook. Yet, he hasn't responded to my emails yet! I'm gonna hurt him!

My son arrived in Tokyo this morning at about 0700 eastern. Does anyone know how/when he gets to Okinawa? And, what do they have for internet/phones so he can get in touch with us?

- Former Navy Gunners Mate, retired Army Infantry Captain. Served 23 years, 8 of which were Navy. I served on two ships, the USS Independence and the USS San Diego - both of which have been decommissioned. I cried the day each ship was decommissioned. It was sad for me.

Proud Navy Mom Sue said… - Yes Scott had called me the Sat. after Christmas and asked me to get a hold of his recruiters. He was suppose to be an E-2 so I called and they said they would fax the paperwork. I don't know what happened but it evidently didn't get done in St. Louis at MEPS. When he went to sign in for school they had received the paperwork and changed him to an E-2. So call the recruiters and have them fax the paperwork to where ever he is now. Hope this works for you. Scott said the fax was dated on 12-31 so the recruiters took care of it right away. Good luck!

- Hi Tim, my daughter performed with the Drill Team at your sons PIR. I saw the pics you posted of the Navy Lodge. Is there any way I can get a copy of one of your pics? I stayed at the Navy Lodge but didn't get to take any pictures of it. The pictures you posted are really nice and yes, there was still alot of snow there when we arrived for PIR 12/24. Happy New Year to you and your family.
