Well I am leaving for South Carolina next Thursday to see my oldest son graduate from the first of 3 schools in the NUKE program. I need the break right before school starts. It feels like the summer has flown by and I missed it.

Chelsea, I found a pic of the honor guard with rifles from PIR 4/10/09. I've put it in the photos on my page, but it's waiting to be approved. I'd post it wherever you could get it and see it if I weren't so technology-challenged. Can't figure out...

Wow, good thing we keep it pretty basic on our PIR group. Who knew they had that much time to kill?

Tina, I wanted to add a chat box to our PIR group but you have to be the admin to do it. I have the code for you. The P-cola group has it and it is really cool. Let me know!

Tina, I wanted to thank you for starting this group! It's been great getting to know others who have a son graduating the same day!

How are your two boys doing? What division are they in? Our son is in Division 153, Ship 9.
We have heard from him and he's doing well. He's got a positive outlook and said this is a unique experience. He's learned alot!

Tina, sounds lonely. My sixteen year old is going to join also, then I'll be an empty nester too, but that's in two years. Daniel is finishing up his A-School in San Antonio, MA shool. I will be going there Friday to spend the weekend with him and I'm really looking forward to spending time with him before he goes off to his next post for two years. Hope all is well there with you and your job and the quiet time you and your husband will be having together. Now you can get some new hobbies? I'm the same way, kind of dreading the quietness, but who knows? Take care and will be in touch

Well...So much for the Tide winning!:( I didnt receive a letter this week. So I guess Tyler didnt have time. He did tell me on the christmas phone call they had Gas Chamber this week. So I hope they all got thru that! We are leaving Thurs and will probably get to the base around 5:30 am Friday. Maybe we will get to meet each others families. Hope so!
