I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but if you guys don't already know the post office has priority flat rate boxes just for APO/FPO addresses, it only cost me $12 to send a box that would normally cost $20. They have different size boxes and a big…

Cindy - It hasn't always been easy. If we still lived in AZ, we would have more opportunity to see him more often but since we moved here he decided to save his time up and just use it all at once for the holidays. I've had a few tears here and ther…

Profile Information

About me:
I have four kids total, between my husband we have a his, her's and two ours. Our oldest, Tyler is 18 and he went into the Navy just weeks after his 18th birthday. Faith is 7, Emily is 2 and our youngest is Brady and he is 8 months old. We have a blended family but we are a team and support each other because we love everyone.
I am here to support or represent my:
Tyler
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I support my son no matter what and I still give him the guidance he needs to succeed. I've learnd to let go of the reins a little bit and let him lead but even though I didn't give birth to him he will still be my little man and I'll still protect him as much as I can or as much as he'll let me.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Traci, Sorry I haven't responded back to you. Things have been pretty hectic. Andrew left Saturday for a deployment with the USS Eisenhower and will be gone about 5-6 months. He is with the USS IKE to get qualified in his job. How is your son doing in San Diego? You must be getting ready to move.

You are getting a real gift being able to see Tyler for Christmas. This will be my second year without Joe and I'm really, really sad but it goes with the job so......
How does he like GL, now that he can actually go places, LOL.
