A School Corpman Graduation
Ok I had been going back & forth over if I was going to make it to graduation March 27th. I just booked my flight so it looks like I will be there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!!

- Tracy, just checking in and seeing how your are doing?? I haven't been on here since around Christmas. Your son and your daughter in law are a very good looking couple. You must be very proud. How is your son?? Where is he. Skylar is in San Dieago right now. I just fly down there two weeks ago and spent sometime with him. He has really changed for the better. Couldn't be any prouder he really is like an adult now . Wow. Well just wishing you and your son the best. Hopefully will here from you soon,

- I hear that it was kind of short notice. We knew that Tim and Ariel were getting married, we just didn't know when. He got his orders right before Memorial Day weekend and they were married on June 20th.

Looking at the calendar I guess it does make sense. He'll have to go thru two weeks of filling out paperwork and such. Married! Wow. How did you handle that? Morgan and his unofficial fiancee continue to say they're going to wait a couple of years. She's talked him into living together before getting married and may move to Oceanside in September depending on when Morgan will be deployed. It took me a while to accept the fact that I hold a different place in his heart and that Ally now has the larger part. There are two pluses to being married that I think our guys look at. First, is their pay is larger and second, they get to live off base or on base if housing is available. What they don't think about is they may make more money, but their cost of living has increased with a wife, rent, and other expenses. Is his wife still in A school? I'm guessing she could get assigned to either CP hospital or the Coronado Navy base hospital. Tracy, how your life has changed in less than a year! A son in the Navy and now a daughter-in-law. Hopefully, she'll become your daughter-in-love as someone told me recently on Navy Dad's.

- Hi Tracy ~ Looks like it's been a long time since I last checked in with you. Where is Tate now? Is he still in gl? Is he going on to FMTB training or does he have orders to report somewhere else? Morgan graduates in Camp Pendleton on May 20th. I can't wait to see him. This has been the longest I've gone without seeing him, even when he was living in Seattle. Hope things are going well for you. Hope to hear from you soon.

- Well maybe things will change, I remember saying when I was young I was going to get married, really thinking it and making plans then something would happen. That great right because he will be closer to home.

- Oh wow, I read your comment above. I was just kidding when I said, "hope he doesn't come home married" . Why do so many people get married in a hurry when they are in the military. I married my one and only husband while he was in the service and we only knew each other about 6 months, we were divorced in a year. Wish him the best though. Has he got his orders yet???

- We leave on the 23rd of this month. I can't wait to see Tim. He is very homesick. His fiancee is having some medical issues and he feels awful being so far from home while she is going through this without him here. She is scheduled for surgery later in the month and he's having a hard time being away.
