Hi Tracy,
Nice to talk to you again. Things are finally starting to calm down a bit. My niece came really close to ending her life, so we were VERY busy with her. She will be on kidney dialysis for a LONG time unfortunately, but she needed a little extra care! Dan is doing great! How is Shea!!! I will write more later. Peg

Maybe one question I could ask if you don't mind is has he said anything about his room? How big, how many to a bathroom etc. Also was wondering how he would compare the facilities on Base to Lackland? Lackland seemed to have everything they needed and I was just wondering if he liked Bangor as well? I am sure it is cooler, Ha Ha

Hope you don't mind my asking, Me

HI, We went to see our son in Lackland, man was it hot down there. He is going to Bangor as well, can't remember if I knew that the last time I talked to you? How long has Shea been there? Is he in the PIR program, Can't remember if I asked you that already? We live about 6-7 hours from Seattle so think our son can ride the train to see us on long weekends and I am pretty excited about that. Let me know how Shea is doing? I am trying to stay in contact with other MA Moms and especially those who have sons at Bangor. Know its top secret stuff but would love to know more about the base etc. it you can share, Thanks

About me:
I'm now a mother of a US Sailor, Shea PIR May 23, 08 and the whole family was there all 10 of us.. We had such a wonderful time with our Sailor... PIR what an awesome experience it was worth every hour getting there... I have never been so proud of Shea, When the doors open and you see them all standing there it's a chicken skin moment( goosebumps) it makes you so darn proud your a AMERICAN!!! The whole weekend was just perfect, we hated to leave but it was time.. I love A school he calls all the time, he calls to say goodnight, he calls to say hi.. The Navy really has been great for Shea.. Yesterday he got his orders after A school he will go to Washington State. We were hoping he would be stationed here in Hawaii but no such luck, I'm sure he's glad he's not stationed here too!! Now about me, I'm 43 married to an awesome man Bob ( second time around is so much better..) We have a daughter Sydney (5) who loves her big brother,so very much, she tells everyone he's in the Navy.
