I am glad to hear Rob is doing well. Stuart really likes Groton and sub school. They have been taking weekend trips to boston, NYC and providence RI. He grads from basic sub school on Friday and goes to mechanic school right after that. School should last until mid may. Hopefully he will get to come home for a week. I am saying my prayers to the "sailor saints" that it will happen!!!!!!!!!!! My family is doing well! I ususally dont call stu cuz he calls once or twice a week. And we text back and forth. Do you know where in California Rob will be stationed yet?

Where will Rob go after he graduates in March? Stu is in basis sub school and then he goes to his mechanics school after that. The mechanic school is in Groton also. I think he will be Groton for several months. I would like to go and see Groton. We had relatives that visited there and said it was beautiful! Did you see the movie "mystic pizza"? Its an old movie, one of the first ones for Julia Roberts. There is a Mystic, CT and an actual Mystic Pizza place that is suppose to be great. I am trying not to call Stu everyday.... maybe a text or call every other or third day. I am not going to hover over him. Its the same with my oldest (who is in college). I touch base with him maybe twice a week or so. It works out pretty good for us.

Take care!

Hi Tracy,
Our Rob (ha ha) was home for Christmas so that was nice but it is hard to watch him drive off. Never easy to say good bye. Where is Port Huemene? Sounds like it is Oriental.
Lunch sounds good. Let me know when a good time for you is. My schedule is pretty open.

Hi Tracy, Hope your holidays were great. How is Rob doing? Did he start A school yet? At least he isn't here in this lousy Ohio weather.

Hi Tracy! How are you? We are doing good. Stuart's school started yesterday in Groton. I think last week was hard on Stuart. He didnt have much to do except cleaning. He was getting bored. Has school started for Rob? Check out the Cheetahs group. Theres a mom "kimberly d", she said her son is at Sheppard and she is looking for other moms. I told her that Rob was there.

Did you have a Happy New YEar? We spent NY eve with friends. It was fun, lotsa food. My oldest is going back to college tonite. He is a resident assistant (in the dorms) and has to be back up by the weekend. School started back up for my daughter Rachel.

I hope you had a happy new year! Our visit with Stu was great. It wasnt as hard to say good-bye to him when he left back to Groton on Dec 26 as it was after boot camp. Talk to ya soon

Merry Christmas Tracy! Has Rob made it home yet? Stuart came home on Friday (19th) and will be here until Friday (26). Stuart likes Groton. Its not as cold as Chicago right now. Its been great having him here. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

That really stinks about A school. I have come to believe that the unofficial military motto must be "hurry up and wait"!
My Rob is doing well. Made 3rd class PO a few weeks ago so he is psyched. He's supposed to be home on the 23rd till the 3rd. Don't want him to take too much leave since they will be deploying soon and I want him to be able to come home before they leave.
