About me:
I'm a 39 year old mom of 4 boys. Trent is my oldest biological child. He went to boot camp RIGHT out of high school. I think he was home for 12 days after graduation and then he left for Chicago that was June 2007). He is now stationed in Japan...

I have a 16 year old left at home and he's looking into the Air Force!!
I am here to support or represent my:
Trent
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted, Overseas
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
you don't get to talk to your child whenver you want! LOL
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Tricia,
Welcome Aboard! So glad that you found N4M's. I must warn you that this site can be addictive! I live in Fort Worth and our sailor graduated bc in June 07. He is stationed in Washington state and is preparing for deployment on the USS Nimitz.
There is going to be a Texas/Navy moms get-together in Waco on March 21. Will you be able to attend? The event is posted on the events page. Please RSVP and let Kathleen-Ma of Jonis know it you can come. We have a great time. We play games, eat lunch, and oh yes talk about our sailors. Bring your pictures, your camera, and lots of stories. Hope to see you there. God bless Sailor Trent.
