From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:

hey TJ - would love to have you come see our light house some day! Have a guest room - just gotta sell the bigger house so I can be there full time! Did I tell you about the world's first FREE bed and breakfast?

Hi TJ,
Sorry about all the computer problems! Enough to make you scream.
I am great - loving spring. Jim and I just came back from the cottage - watching the lighthouse blink and working a jigsaw puzzle together - fun and relaxing. Then its back to work and the effort to prepare the house for the 1st open house in 2 weeks - ahhhhhhhhhhh! But we have a goal and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Jesse likes A school and is planning to start Seaman to admiral program (degree completion) after A school so I am in heaven ! There have been some sailors in trouble for drinking and such on the base - he seems very serious though - I think he will avoid temptation. We send 5 really good books to him and he dove right into one. He felt starved for intellectual stimulation after BC so I know he is diggin em! I realize that you are very careful about security but I would love to know more about how your sailor is doing! I was so impressed by him and want to keep connected with you - AND hear of his successes! We are FB friends too I think.

TJ, I picked up a copy of the Great Lakes Bulletin and your sailor is pictured in there. Let me know if you'd like me to mail you the clipping or the whole paper (I can do either). My E-Mail is stampingkelly@yahoo.com.

I use a Panasonic Lumix - the lighting was HORRIBLE even with flash and my camera is not an SLR so i could not get close up shots. Other folks got much better pictures.

Isn't it great to see their letters! How is TJ doing? Morgan said if he knew he'd have the same RTC's the second time, he'd go through it again and have more fun! Morgan has always had the worst handwriting, but it was absolutely perfect when I got his first letter. He was never one to write long letters, so they were always short. My Morgan was a gymnast and ended up gaining weight in bc instead of losing it. I got the Chicago pics from him. He has some from the winter, which were really cool. There's one where it looks like there's a ghost in the picture! He said it was his breath. Never got the picture he wanted because it was so cold. Take tons of pics! Weather wise, we're getting warmer as the week goes by. By the end of the week, it's suppose to be in the upper 60's. The latest on Morgan. After arriving at Camp Pendleton the end of Dec, he finally classed up. Today was his second full day. He just sent a couple of pics to my cell. His backpack looks like it weighs 80 - 90 lbs! I don't know how they do it. That's more than half my weight and they have to climb hills and mountains. He's a corpsman and once he graduates FMTB, he'll be assigned to a Marine platoon and go where ever they are deployed. What does TJ want to do?
