Yes my first deployment as well, yes he is in San Diego (one of my favorite cities), Kyle got there on July 4th and they have been in and out quite a bit since the 2nd day he was there, March 8th he left for bc, he is ABH (aircraft handler - moves everything around and secures, etc...) I sent a request to you so we can email. Looking forward to hearing from ya

(My son Kyle is on the USS Cleveland and getting ready to deploy here very, very soon - will be a whole new experience for me).

No, I haven't heard from him. The last three weeks, I've heard from him every Saturday..so I'm hoping I hear from him tonight or tomorrow. When they go on port, I think they will have about 3 days off..so I hope he calls me. I put a phone card in the package I sent him.
