Hi Navy Mom, I'm fairly new to the site but I was reading something you had written about the contracts and wanted to know if you could answer a question for me.

My daughter signed up and is in DEP as of May 11th. One of the things I noticed on her contract was that in section B it says "I am enlisting/reenlisting in the United States" then they filled in Navy Reserve....

I called her recruiter and he said it was just a typo and it would be corrected with a few other things they need to add about bonus' and stuff when she leaves for BC.

I'm just a little leary about some of the things that happen with these contracts and I'm wanting to make sure that she doesnt end up in the NCS program, because thats not what she wants.

Are the NCS contracts different than the regular Enlistment Documents?? Sorry this question is so long, I'd appreciate any help you could give on the subject.

Thanks!
Paula
