About me:
My son gets his love of the ocean from me. He also gets his protective and investigative nature from me! I love crime drama TV; my favorite is NCIS! I enjoy traveling to the Caribbean and Central and South America. I think Belize is the most beautiful place on earth! Our family believes in helping others. My daughter works in a post-surgical unit in WI and my son has enlisted in the Navy with hopes of becoming a Navy Seal.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
if you have questions...call the recruiter. He knows more than my son does!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The Navy has a lot to offer

I spoke with the SAILOR Saturday as well. He now tells me he will grad on 3/20. This time he didnt say THINK. He said everyone from his class is going to Mississippi.............just like after boot camp............he however will not be going there. He will be going to Sicily. I thought it was expensive to send a package from NC to Cali.............what do you think it will cost to send something to Sicily????? This child of mine always has to be different!

Good Morning Vickie, any word from your Seabee lately? I hope to speak with mine today and see what he is "thinking" now! Have a good day!

Hey Vickie
My Sailor PIR'D on 11-26-08. He says he will have C School next and it will be in a desert somewhere. He is supposed to get leave after A school graduation. If I could pick him up and shake him, perhaps a little more "INFO" would fall out. He still THINKS his grad date is 3-37, he still THINKS he will get leave after graduation..........about all I know is what he THINKS! I hope you get a little better info than I do!

I keep looking at your photo, you look just like a co worker of mine from years ago and she was from VA as well. Her name is Judy.

My SAILOR is now saying the 27th as well. As soon as that is over, he will be heading home for 2 weeks! It has been a long 6 months since seeing him.

Hi Vicki, Your welcome, you will get to know just about everyone before you know it. It will take time. The good thing though is that we are here for everyone. And knowing that is a added comfort. We get to talk to each other and share things about our sailors. Claudia
