About me:
I am a 34 year old mother of two wonderful boys. My son Ronnie, 18 , who is in the NAVY is a very proud Sailor. My youngest son is 13 and plans to follow in his brothes footsteps.
I am here to support or represent my:
Ronnie
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That my son being in the NAVY was the safest place for him to be if he was going to be in any service at all.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Dear Wendy,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
I heard the same about the communication while on the ships out to sea.
My daughter KIm is now on the USS Normandy in Virginia. Supposebly, the ship will be drydocked for a year. So Kim goes galavanting on her time off!!
Us moms are all in the same situation, I love this web site. I made it a hobby!! HAHA!!
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.

There is also a group for Indiana moms on here if you wish to join. My son is almost 28. Hard to believe. He's a mineman in Corpus Christi. Suppose to go to Norfolk, Va next summer. He's married and has 2 great kids. And thankfully he'll be here tomorrow evening for the week. Haven't seen him a a year.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Please let me know if you have any questions I can help you with.
