Like many wives and girlfriends...I'm trying to trim down a little while my husband is in boot camp..for one it gives me something to work towards and keep my mind off of missing him and it will boos…

Breastfeeding really took the weight off me, and I actually lost more weight when I quit. Running, drinking lots of water, and eating lots of fruits and veggies have worked for me. Salty foods, fast food/restaurant food, frozen meals, and fried food…

Im a young 21 year old wife and mommy, I'm super girly, but I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty! I love doing makeup, hair, nails, scrapbooking, crafts, etc. I like to travel A LOT! My favorite movie off all time is breakfast at tiffanys! I listen to all kinds of music, but christmas music is the absolute BEST! I love to shop...my favorite stores are tiffany and co., Macys, forever 21, old navy, A&F, the NEX (dont hate haha), baby gap(for my son), carter's(for my son), Target, nordstroms, beatycrunch.com, up against the wall, buckle, coastalscents.com, aaannnddd victorias secret. My husband is currently in boot camp in great lakes, IL and I miss him terribly....we met in 7th grade and started seriously dating in highschool. We got married on 9-9-09, and we have a perfect 11 month old son =] and soon we'll be adding a puppy to our little family =] no planned babies for a little while though...maybe after our 1st duty station!

PHONE CALL

I finally got my phone call yesterday around 4pm...It was great! I spoke to him for about 20-25 minutes...It was so great to hear his voice! He sounds good. He's passed all of his physical tests as well as the exam to be bumped up to E2. I am just so proud of him. That call yesterday made my entire week!!! I got 2 letters on tuesday and a phone call on wednesday...I'd say that's a pretty darn good week! =]

4 letters!!!

YAY! so today I received 4 letters from my husband! All at once! it was like I hit the jackpot! They were long ones to...3-4 pages each =]...I'm a happy young lady today!! I just finished writing him back and responding to everything he talked about....I've got 2 letters to put in the mailbox tomorrow! im so excited!!! today was a good day! had a great day at work and I got my letters in the mail!! =]

military ID and tricare

I got my military ID card yesterday! and called to get things sorted out with tricare and get us switched to tricare prime versus tricare standard! we'll be able to get appts in jan.! yay and even though I wasn't a fan of my pic on my ID im super excited I have it! =]

I never knew how happy a couple of sentences could make me!

Well ladies and any gentlemen that may have stumbled upon reading this, I received the form letter today! I got his PIR date and everything. and at the bottom of the last page was a short note from my husband. Those couple of sentences just made me so incredibly happy! He let me know that he loved me and missed me, that he wouldn't be able to write for a couple of days, and that I would hear from him soon. He also wrote that he passed out in medical! How are you doing? Any word on how div 047 is doing? I have not heard from my son since the call. I hope no calls yet means he passed his PT test and everything else went well last week. I will keep all of them in my prayers. It must be very hard for you without your husband.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I am still getting used to this site and how to do things. Hope all is well with your husband. I got a letter from my boy today. He has had a sinus infection and is tired, but seems to be doing well otherwise.

How sweet! I got a letter yesterday from Zach. He said your husband and some other guy (Mayhem) are good friends. He said they are so much fun. It is an answer to prayer that he has made some good friends. I'm hoping we get a call this week. Let me know when you do. I can't wait to get to meet you at graduation! How are you getting along? Hello Tostem's wife. Thanks for getting back to me. Since your husband an my son are in the same division. I was wondering if he has said anything about coming home for Christmas. My son said that they will not be able to but that is not what the recruitor said.Have you heard if your husband will be grad an go I havent heard anything. Hang in their I know you have a little one I know its hard.....see ya later Oh yea my son also had jrotc in High school.

Zach said it wasn't that bad now that he is getting use to it. I think the first week he was really homesick. Since he has made friends with some of the other recruits he likes it. Evidently they have a big test on Monday and he has been studying a lot. Zach was in NJROTC for four years in high school and he always wanted to join the Navy. Zach is a great guy (even if he is my son). He has a wonderful sense of humor and is a lot of fun to be around. I'm sure they are keeping each other going. Let me know how your husband is doing when you get a chance. I'm hoping they can call home soon. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Nothing yet! Today is her 18th Birthday. I have wanted to be sad all day, but then I realize she's only seperated from us for a little while & I feel alot better knowing we will see her soon. How are you holding up?
