Cecelia, May God bless you and keep you during your time of sorrow. I cannot begin to imagine what pain you must be suffering, having lost a child. All I can say is that my prayers are with you. Time heals all wounds.

This is a place for those whom have lost a love one in a war. To share their feelings in a safe place. A place for others to come and offer their condolence and support.

Now this meet and greet I can do. All I need is a few weeks notice to make sure I'm off work, and I'm there. I'm a proud Navy Mom and I want all of Dallas to know it!!!!!

Eagle Mom, No, I will not be able to attend the get-together. Maybe the next time we do something in Dallas I can take the day off to attend. Thanks for the invite, and thanks for the welcome.

Thank God there are people out there who understand exactly what I'm going through. Just reading some of the comments on this site have given me peace and an additional hobby. My son, Brandon, left for Boot Camp February 17th, and I was a WRECK!!!…

Profile Information

About me:
Mother of three whose eldest son enlisted after being aggressively recruited for almost a year. I have been so depressed with him being gone, but I'm glad he decided to enlist - I truly feel his decision to enlist has saved his life. Call me crazy, but I think I have the empty nest syndrome, and I think it's great that someone took the time to design a website where moms can connect with one another. I'm proud of my son, it's an honor and a privilege to be his mother....
I am here to support or represent my:
Brandon
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
DON'T WORRY!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Welcome Aboard Miss Red
Bless Your Heart... My name is Jennifer and my son Richie has been in the Navy a year March 31, 2009. It is very difficult but through Prayer and Supplication we will stand .You continue to stand on the wall for Brandon, because it won't be easy for him either . I my self who's always praying blessed with my own Ministry .President of my Church Missionary Dept and if your every in need of Prayer and need to chat try my Blesseth assurance Page.. because i myself had to Let Go and let God.. I stayed in a rut 6 days while praying & Meditating I remember {John 3:16} and{ 1 john 1:9 }and instantly i was set free. it may take some longer than others but You Hold on and know that Gods Got it.. and what better hands to be in than the Lord.. and Brandon is covered by the Blood and read (Psalms 91 ) Psalms of Protection over Brandon as I do my Only and Oldest child Richie..I will keep you and Brandon in my Prayers as well as your other Family members
God Bless you..

I was just looking at your pictures. What a great group of kids! I can tell they love to joke around! Your son is TALL! My guy is 6'3" but I think Brandon is even taller! What a wonderful family!

Hello! How are you doing? I've been thinking about you and you are in my prayers.
Have you heard from your sailor? And how's your daughter?
I just came back from looking at a college for my daughter. We are both thrilled with it and hope that we can get a little financial help so we can afford it!
Let me know how y'all are!
Blessings,
R.

Hi, Welcome to Navy for Mom’s. You will find lots of support, advice, information, and friends here!! All you have to do is read, read, read!!

I would like to invite you to join the group of moms from Texas!! We are the largest state group on this site!! (Everything is bigger in Texas - including Navy Moms)!! We reached 500 members on February 12, 2009.

Just go to the groups tab and type in Texas in the search box. The icon of the group is the state of Texas, of course!! If you can’t find that, click on my picture to the left and it will take you to my page. You can find the same icon there. Just click on it and you can join us!!

Please leave a short message about where you live and what your sailor is doing. Also, please let us know how you found Navy for Moms.

My sailor son, Derek, is a MA (Master at Arms) - He is now stationed in Portsmouth, Virginia.
