has anyone heard how the weather is in respect to ida making landfall? i talked to my son last night im hoping that they are fine but all the weather updates show the storm right on top of them

About me:
Well im not a navy mom im a navy wife!

my husband just finished BC and is now in Pensacola FL. for A-school
He is an AD (aviation machinist) which im still learning on what he is going to REALLY be doing :)

We have been married for almost 4 yrs now and im currently a stay at hom mother with our baby boys.

Im very new to this and its so hard to be away from my husband since i was so dependent on him when he was here. thats why I thought I would sign up for this. even though im not his mother i could use some good advice and support from a mom :) They seem to always have the best advice! and not only that, I have so many questions! and it seems like I can never get a good answer from his recruiter. So here I am! :)

Hi bethany welcome to N4Nm's! Thank you for requesting to be my Friend! My daughter is in Pensacola waiting to start A School also. She called two days ago after i got back from there and said she Classes up March 23rd for AD so i guess your Husband will be in School with her then. I have pics on my page of the base not to many but of what the barracks look like and the entrance to the School and Galley area where they eat. This is a great site. Also have your husband sign up on www.navydads.com . You can sign up on it also. I have a page there too along with my husband has his page. It has alot of great info too. Never to much for us!! TTYL

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
