Profile Information

About me:
I am a mother of two awesome kids. My Son is 13 and my Daughter is 10 (going on 30). I have been married to my husband for 14 years. We are currently stationed at NAS Lemoore and have been for the past 7 years. We just received orders to Hawaii and are excited and scared at the same time. My husband is an Ordie (AO) and we are an Ordie Family. We have a great community of family and friends that have stuck together through duty stations, deployments, and everyday life. I am a very proud AO's wife.
I am here to support or represent my:
Spouse/Significant other
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Some of the people we meet are only acquaintances, those that are real friends will meet up again at a later date, different duty station or country. Dont get wrapped up in the drama or it will consume you. Married to the military is the hardest relationship, with all odds against couples as it is, its work and support that we can give to eachother that will allow us to grow.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Brook, I forgot I took a couple of pics of the houses on Ford Island while I was in Hawaii. I know they aren't the greatest pics but they give you an idea what they look like. Pat
