Hi Cathy. Just saw a post that you left. So, it's almost time for your PIR time! How exciting. My son just graduated on the 17th. He was the 922 DIV. It is totally amazing to watch the 900 division perform. Enjoy every second. Also, we stayed at the Ramada in Waugekan. Very nice and easy to get to the base. They have a great resturant too. I hope you enjoy your stay! It will be here before you know it!! :-)

Cathy, I meant to reply to you. Sorry if I didn't. I got a letter from Drew today that said all of 926 is the state flag division. I received my graduation information today. Have you received yours yet?

Hello Cathy,

here is a group for all who have a loved one with a PIR 5-19-09.

Also, I just found out today from that group that their Pweek ended up going 4 days longer than what it is supposed to. Instead of the normal 5 it was 9. Just thought I would give you the link for this group. You should join it.

Stephanie.

You are most welcome. It is also helpful to look for other moms from the same div # & ship. Also look for a group for his "rate" (job) that he will be training for once he finishes up boot camp & heads to his Aschool. (my sailor is DC (Damage Controlman) so I joined the Damage Control group.

Welcome to the Ohio group!!!! Contact his recruiter on Monday & ask him for his boot camp address. He should be able to get online (some Navy website we don't have access to) & get you his address which will include his Div # & ship name & number. Then you will be able to look up his PIR date (graduation date) & write to him. Have you joined the boot camp group? It's a great group for support & encouragement, & information most of the moms there are in the same position you are, they have a loved one at boot camp.
