You get 4 visitor vehicle parking passes for that day. Your child will fill out names to be on the list. That gets sent home to you.

My daughter Ashley will also be sent to Japan from Pensacola and I can tell you I have only heard good about Japan and how they feel about our sailors. I know how you feel. My daughter will be on the USS George Washington.

not at all, you are sent your visitors pass and they ask for drivers licenses. It was very quick to get through

my vote would be to drive yourself. we left our hotel @ 6:15AM (less than one mile away) and got there no problem and great seats. The shuttle is a long walk as they drop you off at the main gate.

Hi, how are you? Last Friday night when Jennifer called, she said Ashley says "Hi". At first I didn't know who Ashley was, Jennifer had to remind me. It was a long week. What is Ashley doing for Thanksgiving? I hope to hear from Jennifer tonight.

TGIF, Jennifer finally got her orders. She's going to Virginia on the USS IKE. She has to report there by 12/8. Her Chief recommended that she not take her leave till Christmas. So she's hoping to be home 12/18 thru at least 1/3. We'll see. She's ready to come home and not looking forward to next week, Thanksgiving. I checked into flights, way to expensive. I just keep telling her to look at the future, to be home for Christmas, New Years Eve and her Birthday.

Good Morning, Jennifer called yesterday afternoon - she wasn't very happy. She found out that her orders for Japan were dropped and also for 5 other sailors. When she called, I wasn't able to talk and told her that I would call her later. When I called her back after several hours, she was in a better frame of mind about the whole thing. She has a feeling she will get Virginia and she could be home as early as this weekend for leave. She will get 14 days home. She's suppose to get her orders today. Welcome to military life!

Happy Monday, she was hold for almost 2 weeks and school was six weeks and now she back on hold. She didn't get her orders last Friday, she's not sure when she will get them. It just leaves so much up in the air, we'll see.

Hi there, just dropped in to see where you are from and perhaps a pic of your girl. Sorry she's having to experiance the "Hurry up and Wait" uncertainty of Navy life so soon! Be sure to write everything on your calendar in pencil from now on. LOL BTW: with my Corpsman friends Carol and Navy Dad Mark (and the others) to guide and support you, you are in very good hands once she heads to Japan. God Bless, Fair Winds and Following Seas on the rest of her journey! :-)

Oh wow they did? What did she say? Someone has been nice and has let Ashley use her phone I will have to ask her the next time she calls about meeting her. Thanks for telling me. She seems to be getting quite the run a round order wise so of course I dont know what is going on. Take care.

Hi, how are you? Our daughters met the other day. Jennifer gets her orders tomorrow, so we will know when she gets to come home and when she has to report to Japan. She has a feeling that she may beable to come home the week of Thanksgiving. She's currently on hold. She was on hold prior to A School for almost 3 weeks. Not sure if this info helps.

I'm working late and hadn't had a chance to get on the site. My computer was delivered yesterday and I hope to have it up this weekend. Take care

Good Morning, I hope your daughter made it to Fl. Jennifer was bored last night, she kept texting me. She said that the storm wasn't that bad. The last I talked to her was around 9:15 her time. Haven't heard from her today yet. I told her about your daughter.

She will be 20, Jan 3rd and she will be in Japan also. :-( Have a good day.

Happy Monday, my daughter just called. She graduated ! She's excited. They have been told that they have to stay in the barrack till the storm goes thru. They have their plans to watch movies on someone's computer. She will get her orders this Friday.

Is your daughter on her way there? I will put her in my prayers.

TGIF - My daugher will be done with A School on Monday, 11/9. She's excited, but she will be on hold for awhile. She's thinking she can be home right before Thanksgiving and she wants to stay for 21 days. I just don't want her to use up all her time and have no time in Japan.

I'm thinking of getting my passport right after Christmas, in hopes that I can go to Japan April or May to see her.

Have a wonderful weekend, I will stay prayers for your daughter in hopes she gets to FL soon. My computer at home is down, new one will be delivered 11/17. So I will have no access to the website, unless I go to my stepson's house. Take Care.....
