I Wanted To Create A Group For People Who's Sailors Are In Pensacola, FL for A School !
November 10
Just received the I'm a Sailor call from Chris, he is in Div 380 and all passed, he wasn't sure about the other divisions. It was great to hear from him, he sounded very tired, but good. Excited for PIR on Friday.

My Chris is in this DIV and I have not gotten a letter since the form letter either. I went to the post office this morning and when I got home I cried and cried. I just want to know how he is doing, I can't stand this.

Dear Chris's mom,
How are you holding up? I hated that box! That left such an empty feeling.
Don't misplace that Form letter. That's something I would do! HHA! This Form letter is all new, all about the graduation now.

Sometime next week, you should be getting your first long letter from your son. I warn moms, that first letter could be sad. If it is, don't panic. The letters do get more uplifting.

Once your son gets into the routine of Boot Camp and over being homesick, he'll like Boot Camp, beleive it or not.

Otherwise, he is fine.

The following letters, he'll be writting in Navy lingo. That's fun trying to figure out what the heck he's writting about! HAHA!

After you recieve that first letter, he may even call you the following weekend.

Please stay in touch with other Navy moms. I'm always around. Together, we'll help you through Boot Camp...we haven't lost a mom yet! HAHA!

Please don't hestiate to write.
Take care and God bless,
Barbara

Dear Chris's mom,
How are you? This Navy for moms is such a blessing. I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that you accepted me as a friend, thank you.

Where is Chris now in the Navy?

My daughter Kim is in Virginia, on the USS. Normandy.

Please don't hestitate to write.
Take care and God bless,
Barbara
