Profile Information

About me:
I am a Navy and Marine Mom both my children are in the armed forces, proud of them being in the Military. I have othe two female children whom I love and care for too.The older of the two has a child whose name is Gia, her mom is currently attending Northridge University working towards her Degree in Criminology: trying to become a Parole Officer. the second female child and the youngest one is presently living in Alaska attending Fairbanks University working towards a Degree in Wild LIfe. I am proud to say that I have four children whom do have very productive lives. I look forward in making new friends in the Navy life My Son Corazon De Cristo is currently serving in Washington's SS Abraham Lincoln. and my son Victor Francisco is currently serving in Iraq. My name is Coral and I hope that I can possibly make any friends who can really understand what it is to be a Military Mom.I would love to send out pictures of me and my children, there is only one minor problem I do not know how to do do it through the Internet and aside of being a total "Probie" on these techniques and not very savvy on Internet Technology i really would like for somebody to teach me or let me know the"HOW TO" TAKE,SCAN OR SEND PICTURES THROUGH THE INTERNET, SO YOU CAN MEET MY FAMILY AND ME. LOOK FORWARD TO MEET OTHER NAVY MOMS AND START BUILDING IF YOU DO NOT MIND MEANINGFUL FRIENDSHIPS THAT WILL LAST LONGER THAN OUR CHILDREN'S SERVICE IN THE U.S.NAVY. :) SINCERELY: AGAIN CORAL E. CANO.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That I really do no have any friends. and I feel very, very lonely. The only friend I hae is my Son in the Navy and my Son in the Marines. Certanily nobody has tried ever to reach out and be my friend what a shame!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The lessons learned in the Navy could have been learned anywhere.

There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Hi Coral, welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my son Tim (19) has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. What is Corazon doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your Sailor. Pat

P.S. There is a group here for mom's w/ Sailor's aboard the Lincoln.
