thank you both for your help, i think i am for sure at a good place. this has been the hardest week of my life. i am trying to be strong cause i know it was a good move on his part to join.
my son just left on tuesday the 17th and i received the box with his clothes yesterday but other than that i really dont know what to expect,, does anyone have any advice ??

I forgot to check my friends requests the past couple of days. Church was cancelled tonight due to power outages and extreme cold. So, I've caught up on laundry which feels really good. Tomorrow I have two Christmas events to attend after work, so it is great to get caught up on uniforms for work. Also picked out a new pair of eyeglasses tonight, so maybe they will be in before Christmas.

I am Drew's mom from New York and my son left on the 17th. We will all be fine. He is my youngest son and so I have that to deal with. I am so lonely BUT our sons are healthy and are able to leave the house and begin a new life for themselves and we have to support them. I raised my 2 sons as a single mom and they are both in the military. My other son is in Iraq so we must just say prays and support one another. Graduation is coming closer each day. Maybe we will meet on the day!
