About me:
Single mom of three nearly grown kids. Two boys and the youngest a girl. 21, 18, 16. Their father is not very active in their lives (he lives in georgia). My kids are amazing and we are all very close. I will become a Grandma one month before my son leaves for boot camp. He has a lot on his plate.

Whether I agree or disagree with him leaving home in this way, I will support him on any decision he makes and not try to be selfish or overly protective. I am very proud of him and know that he will do well.

I here ya... my hubby was laid off for over a year total in the last two years... and it's been a struggle.... we so wanna go see josh... just trying to make sure we have the money to do that.... so these extra shifts are GOOD.... just hate doing doubles..... standing on your feet for 14 hours a day really sucks.... anyhow.... i had mentioned to those going that I work at the Huddle ( across from the power plant on Lake Rd)... and if anyone wanted to stop up after the Winery I would love to see you all!!!!!

Hey there...Angi is going to C-school in Va. but doesn't know where after there. She will graduate C-school in Oct. I have actually been on here since Jan. and even started a Lor Cty group but only heard from like 1 or 2 people. It's soooo crazy that Angi and your son were friends before they left. I believe she is also friends w/ your Dghtr in law. We definately need to set a date!!!

Talk to my son... he knows your son and just talked to him recently. He said.. Mom I saw this other sailor the other day and just KNEW I recognized him... then they got to talking... they had the same Recruiter and were in the same DEP group together.

OMG I just read your post on the Lorain Co moms.... WOW... My son is ALSO on the USS Enterprise!!!!!! Like Connie said....Small world indeed! Connie and I met a few months back... and found out that her daughter and my son knew each other before they joined the Navy......
