Sometimes a recruiter can get an initial address, however WAIT. So many changes can happen before your son gets a final address. I know many moms who wrote to the wrong address and their recruit did get the mail after he graduated. Still write your…

Proud Navy mom! Married to a proud Navy Dad (Dave) and have 2 beautiful children, Andrew (Navy recruit) age 18 and Ashlyn, age 14. Live in Prescott, AZ and work full time in Prescott Lakes selling new homes as an associate broker.

How do I get an address quicker for my son in boot camp?

We are so anxious to communicate with our son. At first we were told that it would be about 4 days before we would get an address from his recruiter. It has been 6 days now and his recruiter said we should get it when he gets back in the office on Tuesday...that will be 8 days from when our son started boot camp. With the holiday tomorrow, I can't send his letters out anyway, but I'm a little frustrated. Is this a normal time frame to wait? Are the other recruits in his division receiving mail?… Continue

Also, please keep an eye on the Events page for any upcoming 'local' events that may fit into your schedule . . . there's a few of us meeting in Casa Grande on Saturday (9/5) for lunch and I believe there's a get-together for coffee scheduled in the Phoenix area for a bit later this month:)!
