I would like to give a update on my son. He made it to the 4th week of SWCC training, and had to drop because of his run.

FYI on the "I'm a sailor" call, they wear the recruit cover (hat) until they complete Battlestations, then there's a ceremony where they get their "sailor" cover. Actually they go from being Recruit Appretice (RA) to being Seaman Appretice (SA).

Yeah! Michael got his airwing pin early on and made E4 early on. The problem now is
they have more sailors than they do positions and seems to be one of the hang ups
for advancements. There is another warfare pin that Michael has been studying for
the last couple of months. He is like James he is a go getter and nothing gets in his
way. He knows what he wants and needs and goes for it. The holidays aren't hard
on me yet cause I am still high off the holiday project and the soon homecoming.
But we will see when Christmas gets here. The drama in my life is finally settling
down and life is somewhat easier. So that really helps I am sorry you are having
a hard time remember I am always here for you. I need to send you my phone
number to your email and maybe we can talk on the phone sometime I would
love to talk to you. And start thinking about plans for homecoming we know the
date ruffly thats all that matters. Take care hope you have better days ahead.

- I just want you to know I didn't direct anything at you. And you are right she never
should of said anything. Not saying anything bad about her but she comes off to
me as one of those people who likes to let people know what power she has.
She should be posting things like that on their site. She is not our onbudsman
and I don't even know who ours is that his their job not hers. She seems to
only chime in when she can be superior. I totally understand where you are
coming from and I meant no harm to you. Your still my Lucy and I love ya!

- Diane, what are you up too. I haven't seen you around much until today. i am sure with
your nice big family they have kept you pretty busy. You didn't know that we moved to
Orlando 10 days after Michaels 1st birthday. We lived there for 12 years we had a nice
house and good jobs and the boys and Ken wanted to come back to Oklahoma. It was
ruff raising kids there the school were ruff and the crime. Ty was moving up to 9th grade
center Apopka and Michael was moving up to Lockhart middle school neither were
great so we decided if we were going to come back that was the time to do it. We but
it to a family vote and I lost. 2 weeks after I moved back I fell down in the middle of my
bed and cried oh! my God what have I done. Cause we left 2 really good jobs and came
back to live with my mom so we could be with her. I must of lost my mind. But now I
have no regrets because they have turned out to be such awesome strong sucessful
men. Not all parts of Florida are ruff but Orlando was getting tuffer and tuffer. We lived
in Lockhart area just about 2 minutes from the orange county/ seminole county line.
It was a nice quit neighbor hood but the upper schools were just too ruff.

I said..."Chris did you receive the DVD that Noto's mom sent you? and he said...Yes, I did, the one that made me cry so much... :( He is just missing his family since we are nearing the holidays and especially his lil sister and the pics on the video brought back memories. He told me to thank you, that he loved it. He knows James and sees him often as they are both cranking. Take care DN, hope all is well with you and your family. Happy Thanksgiving!
