About me:
I'am a mother of 4 children, 3 older boys and a daughter. My youngest son, "zach" who is holding me in the picture, enlisted recently in the navy. It's very difficult for me at this time, he's my baby boy, but i know he has to grow up. I'm unsure what i'am to expect, but i support and respect his decision and those who are currently serving in all branches of the military who help to defend our country and our freedom, God surely does bless them all.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
i don't know anything at this stage
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I found this website through another forum (off N4Ms) and it's supposed to help with flights, hotels, etc. I hope this helps some: http://www.militarytogo.com/

I also lived in Bakersfield for 15 years, about 10 years ago.
