- I'm still learning. I am a former Navy wife, but being a Navy mom is a completely new experience. That's why I'm joining Navy Moms, to get the support I need to be the best support I can be to my son.

- Joanne, it would be great to talk deployment. I wish your daughter all the best and safe, quick returns. I pray for all our service members, especially those serving abroad. My son is due to deploy in January. He leads EO's and I guess they leave a little earlier and stay a little later - lucky us! Anyway, it's been difficult not seeing him for the last year, but we are hoping he will get leave before he deploys. Can you tell me what your daughter does, and what battalion she is attached to? (Not sure if that's okay or restricted info.) I've got to learn the do's and don'ts of this.
