Hi Gulf Coast Mom.  Thank you for the friend request.  Has your son been in Kings Bay since Prototype, and how does he like it?  Did he do Prototype in Balston Spa?

Hello, it's good to see someone else from Ms here. Would love to be friends. My son Daniel leaves for BC Sept 1st.

Nice to meet you.  My Son is currently in BC.  He is probably finishing up his "p" days.  Hard not hearing from him.

I am currently a RN working perdiem in local hospital.  I am also finally finishing up my BSN.  I am going to also complete my school nurse certification.  Probably going to look towards middle school or high school.  How do you like it compared to Hospital nursing?

What rating is your son?  How has the Navy been to him?

I enjoyed Camp Nursing.  If you are a Middle School nurse, you will be very comfortable with this job.  It ranges from homesick kids to anaphylactic shock...you never know what the day will bring. It's very rewarding, but not in a monetary sense. I did it for many summers when my kids were at camp also.

So how long has your son been at Groton?

Our granddaughter just arrived at Gulfport. She doesn't start school for about 2 weeks, then I think it will be another couple weeks before she can leave the base. Can you get onto the base?

Hi, we are on the Memphis too. I saw your post from March 7th. I understand you are looking for the Ombudsmans info, Her email is memphisombudsman@yahoo.com and she can help you. Also the page you may have left comments on may be inactive, there is a new private blog for the families which she can give you information on, it is very recent and every question is responded to. Also, just a reminder to please do not discuss schedule info on any board, you never know who may be trolling:) . Hope all is well!
