About me:
I am a retired Special Education Teacher. I love the beach and the ocean. I am an Army Brat and was born in Italy while my Dad was serving his tour of duty, there.
My family has a long history of serving our country in various branches of the service. My only son just enlisted. I am very proud of him. I miss him very much and love him with all my heart. I am happy that the Navy is helping him to form his own destiny. I am a woman of faith.

That he did so well on his tests, worked out and lost weight and did everything required of him. How much the Navy has to offer to help young men and women to help them have a wonderful future.

Anne ~ I didn't realize you were still active on this site! I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you are doing much better and feeling stronger every day. What is Evan doing now days? Where is he? Morgan will be graduating from Field Marine Training Batallion May 20th. He's been in Camp Pendleton (Marine base), Oceanside, CA since Dec 27th. We're leaving on the 18th to drive down there for graduation. My gosh, it's been a long time since we last chatted. Send me a pm, if you'd like, and catch me up on what's been happening.

i hope you are well. corwin graduates nov. 21.we cly to virginia see him for thanksgiving. that is a school. he will stay there for c school too then i hope come for xmas. i will be here for you. i am back on 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. still hurricane damage from ike on coast but getting better. :) Happy Thanksgiving.

Hi, I am a new member and noticed you were from Badin. I am from Seagrove and wondered if you would like to talk. My son, Jacob joined the Navy June 08 and PIR'd Aug.22. What a proud day that was!! He is in Pensacola right now for A school. Should be finished by Christmas. He really has grown up in the past few months. Tell me about Evan. Where is he and when did he join the Navy?
