Hi, I read your comment about your sailor going to California. That is probably just for training, and then they move around after that. I have a friend who has an older son who lives in Florida. He signed up in his mid to late 20's. He always had a dream of becoming a paratrooper. He even had lasik surgery so that he wouldn't have to wear glasses/contacts. Then the service wouldn't allow him to paratroup because he had the surgery! Finally it all worked out, He loves it!

well if you guys made it thru boot camp, you will be ok. im sure he has told you about all the guys's girlfriends leaving them. jesse told me that like.. him and 5 or so other guys were the only ones who still had faithful girlfriends at the end of bootcamp. i know it is really hard but like i said just stay positive and it will pay off. i miss jesse so much sometimes i dont know what to do. but im happy that i have him in the first place. and not getting to see him much will make it even better for when you DO get to see him ya know? and you've always got us on here to talk to if you ever need too! i check my page everyday :)

Hey, yes, I have 2 sons in the Navy - one is 25 and in Norfolk stationed on the USS Enterprise - he's a Boatswain's Mate - married - love him dearly. My youngest who is in the same division as your sweetie - he's 18 and has a rescue swimmer contract. He is incredible and is my last child - I now have an empty nest. Oh well. Just to let you know, if Manny switches to rescue swimmer, his training starts in Florida but he will then go to San Diego for more training. :o( You will be at PIR? Are you going to Flanagan's?
