Glad the videos helped. There are some groups that you can join that will really be a big help to you. Boot camp moms is a group of moms that have recruits at boot camp & veteran moms that answer questions (it's also a good place to find others with recruits in the same division or with the same PIR (boot camp graduation date). It's also helpful to look for a group for his "rate" (job) he will be training for at Aschool, after boot camp.

Hello! Welcome to N4Ms! Come join us in the Ohio group. It's a great way to make connections with Navy families closer to home. Hope to see you there :)

Hi, welcome to Navy for Mom's:)) You will find a lot of answers, support and encouragement here. My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my future son-in-law Tim has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. What will your son/daughter be doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your recruit. Pat
