Scotty said… - Josh, everything I have read say that to be MA all you need it to not be color blind. I can't say definitively about corrected vision, but I am sure if that is an issue I would seek a waiver. In this stage of your career with the Navy, ALWAYS ASK FOR A SECOND OPINION. Don't take no from the first person you ask.
If I could give some advice I would explore your options of finishing your degree and getting an officer commision

- Hi Josh, seen your post in the Q and A forum and curious why you don't think you will like AECF. It is a great field, with very nice income potential if you don't stay in the Navy after your six years. My husband was an FC for 10 years and our son just graduated from A school on Friday as an FC as well.
You must of scored well on your ASVABs to be offered this program.
