I really enjoyed myself and I loved to see the sailors bring the ship too life too, it was like nothing I'd ever seen before.

Hello Moms!!! well they did it again!!! the commissioning of the USS NEW YORK will live on in our hearts as one of the most exciting things we will ever witnesss, i keep hearing SAILORS BRING THIS SHIP TO LIFE!!! and saw my daughter move her missiles up and down ,Thank you navy moms for all your support while in New York,and my hotel room was GREAT!!!!!

Hey Joy did u know that the hotel New Yorker does not provide self parking only valet and it is 46.00 for every 24 hrs and there is no in and out privileges!!! every time you leave you gotta pay.!!! that's crazy. We called and they told us that, So I hope everything is in the area so we can walk ...

Hi Joy, I've been a little sick but I am good now, I heard from him and its official we have a room and we are staying at the New Yorker also. So I hope to see you there!!! GOD IS TRULY ABLE!!

He's already told us that he was on the list for a free room but I was getting a little worried on the strength the you were saying they were taking peoples rooms, and I would hate for them to do that to us and we dont know this til we get there, that would be bad!!LOL

she is now very independant while being on her own now she is going to be on the ship USS New York as a FCSN to be commisioned on November 7 2009 in New YORK and we will be there for the celebration!!!!!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

How proud I was of my daughter. when they annouced 'SAILORS BRING THIS SHIP TO LIFE' and i got to see the missiles that she man's move up down and sideways,on that great big ship!! the tour was so informative,i always wanted to know what it's really like to be on one of those big things and thanks to the navy my wish came true,sorry i didnt make it in time to get my gift from the navy for moms that was at the hotel but nothing was a great as spending time with my family and taking in the sights… Continue
