Thanks for the info. I hope everything goes well when she has our tonsils out too. I'm glad to hear the surgery isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. I talked to her yesterday morning for about 20 minutes and enjoyed every second of it. She's doing great. She had her wisdom teeth pulled out at the end of last week so she was not working. I guess that's the only way they have any time off while on the ship. I might want to be sick occassionally to from the sounds of the # of hours they all have to work. Wow I get tired just thinking about all that work. Hope you son write more later. I am blessed that my daughter e-mails and calls pretty regularly, but then she was always mama's baby. I miss her so much.

Ohio is no doubt different for you, but it's not so bad. I'm not crazy about Toledo even though I've lived here since 1972. Columbus is more my speed. So how long has Nelson been in the Navy and what does he do?

I'm a newbie to this whole Navy thing; my son just found out two days ago that he was accepted into the Officer Training program. I'm a little nervous about it all so I'm glad I found this site. I also see that you moved here from New Jersey. I was born in Jersey and still have family there. What part are you from?

- Hi Julie, you're right . What can you send them with such limited space to store their stuff in? I think it's great that you sent him the Transformers blanket. Bill has absolutely loved them also. He actually im'd me just a couple of days ago, about a video on youtube where some man took a Gundam transformer & made a General Lee from it. He put the video of it up on his myspace page.
So as you can guess Bill's also a fan of Dukes of Hazzard. He says he's on a mission to scour the stores for one of them now. I think he will have to make one himself. He had a remote control Gen. Lee but his fiance broke it. He was going to have her send it to him. He wanted me to tell you that he's in GM division now.I hope that our guys still get to hang out
sometimes. I don't know a thing about how those divisions work. I have to get ready for work now, so you have a great day. M.J.

- We moved here in 1998 from New Jersey. My kids are happy here so I'm glad we moved. I wasn't sure at first, there is nothing here and its flat! That much I hate. The people are pretty nice, but everyones related to everyone! So if you say something to one person you best be sure its something you want everyone in town to know. I miss the hills and woods and camping. But I don't miss the taxes, high prices, congestion and traffic.
