hi!
i saw you post in the corpsmen moms group and i had a quick question.
i read that you wrote something about a special liberty that the guys in a school can put in for? my bf is currently in a school and right now they dont have phase three, it was taken away from everyone at corps school right now and no one knows for sure when they are gonna get it back.. i wanted to go visit in february and i was curious to know about how this special liberty works.. do you have anymore information about it? thanks.

oh yes...i would LOVE to hear more about the possibility of "Adopting" Dan for Christmas so we could see him!!! His birthday is 12/8, so besides not having him here for Thanksgiving, his birthday as well as Christmas has me pretty down in the dumps...just the thought of the possibility has put a smile on my face! Thanks...

I am fine. My son graduates 12/19 and has 2 weeks leave. Don't know if he will be able to come home here or go to his girls house in Florida. He sent his girl a letter and called her, but I have not heard from him yet. I sent him a letter with a phone card. I really miss him at the holidays. He is the baby and was always the helper. Hope your son gets to come home. Take care and stay in touch, Jeri King

Hey! Andrew is adjusting. He wanted to go Marine Recon, but failed the eye test. I can remember what department he's in...sometimes his cell signal is just horrible. He really wants to deploy and that just terrifies me! What department is Justin in?

You are right next door. What is your son going to be doing in the Navy? My son is going to AZ school in Mississippi when he graduates. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing and he also. I am very sad that my boy is away, but I know he is bettering himself. He has always been a free spirit. He lived in Florida on his own for the past year. My husband and I moved up here from Florida October 7, 2007. He got to come up for Thanksgiving last year and Christmas we our first time apart since his birth. Thanks for responding, Jeri King

My son David is and is a Corpsman. He is located in Yorktown, Virginia and begins training for Optician Technician tomorrow Monday for six months.
