you familys history of public service is amazing. your family has put there lives on the line everyday for so many years.you dont see people like that very often ,you only hear about the bad things people do,no one ever mentions the good things and your family is one of the things that make america the best place in the world to live.

Hi Karen, how are things going? Did your son make it home ok? I haven't heard from my son for a couple of weeks. He promoted to second class. He was happy about that. That was the last time I heard from him though. Did you get the list of names to send cards to? If so, my son's address is on there. If you didn't get it let me know and I will send it to you. I saw where your son is on the list, so I will be sending him one. I am hoping to be able to set up a time with you so we can meet. It would be nice to meet another SailorMom....lol Well, back to cleaning.....take care and stay in touch.....Deb

Hi Karen, sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
I know where 36 highway is but not highway 6. It just isn't one that I have taken. I am assuming it connects to St Joe but not sure of where at. I will have to look on the map.....;-) Are we the only ones from this area?

Wow! Ten years and then re-enlisting for another ten. He must really like it. Not sure of what my son will do yet.

I actually live in Nodaway. Just northwest of Amazonia.

Talk to you later......Deb

Hi Karen! Well, I've been a bad little girl today and I've spent the whole day on this site visiting every single one of you ladies who I am so glad to call friends!!! My bosses are both gone, so it's quiet and I've had such a good time. I vowed to e-mail everyone a hello before I left work today. How's your son?
Danny says he's been working so hard this week - they've been having problems with their planes and they have to get them fixed so quickly so they can provide support for the jets and the ground forces - he's so tired 'sounding' in his e-mails. Do they ever get a "day off," so to speak?
Anyway, I just wanted to stop by and say hi to you! Hope you have a wonerful evening!

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted, Overseas
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
gerald is happy. He has already been In ten years, and reenlisted for another ten. I wished he hadn't, but that's what he wanted. so I'm happy.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer
