Profile Information

About me:
I currently have a 23 year old son serving in Afghistan. He is a corpman(don't know if that is spelled right). So this holiday season has been extremely hard for myself and my relationship. He is supposed to be back around the end of March.
I am here to support or represent my:
Devon
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted, Overseas
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To stand behind them no matter what.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi Kelly. I finally got a minute to send you a note. I just wanted to check on you and see how you are. I know the holidays were rough for you and I wanted to send you some love. I'm pretty sure I'll be in your position soon. My son is a Navy Corpsman too and is hoping for Af. He wants to help and feels that's they way to do it. Our boys are are healers and I hope that eases my pain of his absence.

Hello and welcome to N4M’s!
We’re so glad you’ve joined us! My name is Michelle (The Admin), but you can call me Elle. Just stopping by with a late welcome! To help you get started, I’d like to share some of our community’s “Do’s and Dont’s”. Please click here and read them because yes, they are enforced. With that said, I hope you enjoy your time here, and if you have any questions/comments/concerns – send them my way! ☺
Sincerely, Elle

That sounds like so much fun! It's going to be kind of strange not having Tim home for Christmas. I'm looking forward to getting a call tomorrow. Have fun building the snowman and have a Merry Christmas!

Hi Kelly!
How much snow do you have at your house? We have about 2 feet or so. I love it, but it seems like it's never going to end. I wish that my son was here to see it. He will PIR on 1/23. This is the 1st year that he hasn't been home for Christmas.

Hi Kelly!
How are you? Devon's pictures remind me a bit of my son Brian. I hope you have a nice Christmas, as for me I'm hoping Brian will be here for Christmas next year. This is his third Christmas away from home. Take care, Sue

Hi and Welcome to N4M. We are proud to have you aboard. Please look on the Events For Blue Candle Lighting. We are lighting blue candles on Christmas day to remember our sons, daughters and spouses who will not be home for the holidays. Some of our children will be home but we wanted to make sure we remember the ones on duty and their families. Please RSVP as if your are attending because it counts. All you have to do is light a blue candle in your home on Christmas day and you will have participated. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
