I'm a Navy mom. My husband is retired Navy,and I am also a Navy Veteran. My son is stationed on a Sub in Groton, CT... I also have two Daughters and a Granddaughter who is the joy of my life and now a grandson and grandchild # 3 due in May.

I have my phone by me, but who knows. She didn't get a call from her boy the other day either, so you're not alone. Are you going to graduation?

I did get a call on the 10th, but I talked to the one other mother who has a sailor in 062 and she did not receive a call. He wrote to her and said two guys were talking during the march and so that particular group couldn't make a call. Maybe Albert was in that group. Hang in there and good chatting with you, Chris

I received my call yesterday from Daniel and was so excited. It was great to hear his voice and he was so optimistic and actually enjoying boot camp. I am so proud of him as we all are. We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
