Profile Information

About me:
One proud Step-Mom, Who has one loving Son... I"m very honored to call him my son, And for him to call me his Mom. PROUD!!
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I learned thru-out the process of just being a Mom taking our son to the meetings, they are very understanding, they are so postive very active in our feelings throughout this time in our life. Great people!! I know it's the best thing for Garret. But now learning things are different than what they told us.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Life is good, Heard from our Sailor everyday!!! Sounds Great, But wants out of GL. So glad we traveled this road together, Will always be honored that it was something he and I together on this journey from the beginning. One proud Family to call him our son, hero and brother

I am so happy for you both, and know what you mean. It's such a drastic change in such a short time! Still brings tears to my eyes, almost 4 years later.

I love you slide show! You guys look awesome. Your beautiful smiles and joy are what I needed to see this morning.

Congratulations to your family! And, welcome to the Navy family now!

Good morning, nice to meet another div 253 mom. As you can see from my profile, my name is Pat. My son is Dino. Can hardly wait for PIR. This has been a long haul and will be so excited to get my long awaited HUG from my son. I don't participate much in the discussions on this site but I try to get as much information from it as I can because it is so difficult not knowing what is going on. Haven't heard from Dino by phone since 7/5. Received letters on 7/16. He said they were going to be busy preparing for battle statons and PIR. Again, thanks for inviting me to be your friend on this site and look forward to meeting you in GL. Warm regards, Pat.
