Hey, can you drop that recipe on my page that you baked for Fleet Week!! I would like to do it this weekend for a family reunion.
Thanks!!
and like Sue said below - sure wish y'all could have stayed a while and seen the response the Sailors and Marines got when they unloaded the buses. The entire park was cheering!!

I am so happy you and your hubby showed up with baked good in hand and organizational skills. You really made a difference and I wish you could have been there to see the sailors and marines enjoy your handy work. A million thanks again!!!!!!

Julie reported that it was very short. I don't think many parents attend this one - we did not go. She was able to come home for a few days before reporting to her first posting. That was nice. Plus since I will be going to see our other daughter very soon, I will be able to stop in and see Julie on my way.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

You must be so proud to have two children serving. I have a sailor and my middle son is a Marine poolee. He leaves for bc on August 17th.

Some of us Moms will be meeting up in NYC at some point during fleet week. Please consider joining us. It's kind of up in the air right now but as the date draws closer, I'll have a better handle on things.

Will Kaitlyn leave out of Albany by chance?
