Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted, Overseas
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO LET THEM GO NO MATTER HOW MUCH IT HURTS. I AM VERY PROUD OF MY SON. AND IN MY HEART HE WILL ALWAYS BE MY LITTLE BOY.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hello, Maggie! What a wonderful surprise!! i was a little surprised to get your friendship request because i don't think that we have talked!
i have read your blog above about your son Stephen and will keep him (and You) in my thoughts and prayers. Have you read Psalm 91? It is a very powerful verse and your son can claim the promise in it for himself and his whole company. Many have done just that and come through battles completely unscathed.
Blessings on you and your family.

Hey Rascal...........I'm here..............sometime. Always glad to have a new friend. At this point in our Country it's imperative that all good men step forward..........agreeing/not agreeing...........it's our time. Could be as important as the Revolution against England before the Civil War...........I'm steppin forward.........in my Red Neck down home Two Steppin' best. Hope to see you soon. You've the hardest job..............My thoughts are with you and with your family.

Maggie, we serve an awesome God. If you pray no need to worry, if you worry then why pray. Our God is a just God. Our God is a keeper. Let his will be done here on earth as it is in heaven. I pray that God will keep you and your family and strengthen you all as well. I pray that God does for you what he has done for me. My son was in Iraq for 7 months with the marines, riding around on convoys. I couldn't sleep nor eat for the first couple of months. My heart was heavy and my body was tired and weary. I had to turn it over to a higher power cause I was killing myself. I turned it over to God. I know that he will do for you what he has done for me. Continue to serve faithfully and watch the miracles.

A blue candle is a blue candle...sm med large... it does not matter, please go to Events and RSVP you are attending if you haven't. This is one way all Navy Moms cand participate and attend and keep the flames burning and each state, each town can participate... Thanks for doing so.. and as I said come see us in Home for a Holiday and let us know when our sailors are coming going and or having a holiday. Thankyou so much

I am running days behind but am trying to get to all new members... so will try to catch up tonight.
Welcome to Navy 4 Moms, this is an exciting website and very informative... We would like to invite you to the Blue Candle Lighting event that occurs in your home anytime you wish to light a candle for your recruit sailor or the military in general. This is done to honor their service during the holidays, birthdays, special events or if you just want to. The Home for the Holidays/Blue Candle Moms also ask you join us in this group. This event and group has no special connections to "any one group" We are all Navy Moms, Wives, and we became Blue Candle Moms.... this included everyone on this website. Please come join us and share your stories and your lightings and your holidays with your child...this was done because some moms were not having their sailors home, and we are support group that can share feelings and fears. Annouce your child is coming home or the despair of knowing on certain holidays it is your sailor we light the candles for. To honor them for the service in the past present and future. To honor those that gave the Ultimate Sacrifice for our freedom. We celebrate the freedom to be Blue Candle Moms and the freedom to light our candles anytime we choose. Please think about our group and the Event and when responding tell where you lit your candle, and the reasons for your paticular lighting. the event will continue and once you rsvp come in anytime and update your lightings
