Hi Margie, I haven't been on the site in awhile, I've been pretty busy with family and work. So how is your son doing? My son just got back from deployment in the end of august, 09. He went to thialand, phillipines & aulstria for some battle training in the jungles but also got liberty in aulstria (he loved it there). Now he's going back to bridgeport for training and on to korea for more training. And, he just got married.

Has your son been sent anywhere yet or is he still doing a lot of training? Ray want's to go to afganistan and I'm having a heart attack! Ray is with the 1st marines 3/5 kilo. Well, I will talk to you later and I will of course keep your son in my prayers.

Tony's tour is for 7-14 months. The marine's go for 7 months but sometimes they need the medics to stay for 14 months and he wont no until it gets closer to the end of the 7 months. He is attached to a Marine unit. The CLB1.

Do Mason and his wife want many children???

Your grandkids are beautiful. You look good. Thanks for sharing. I bet you enjoy spoiling them.

Tony is ready to go. He seems to like the unit he is assigned to so that makes it easier. He was home last weekend so I got to see him. I was flying down this week to see him off but they moved his date up to Monday and my flight was on Tuesday for his deployment on Wednesday so my husband will leave from work in the morning as he works at the San Fran airport. I will go when he returns.

Does Mason like working with the babies? How does he like the reserve weekends?

Hi Margie
Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Really no excuse. Just been kinda down. My youngest one with the Coast Guard finally went thru his A school and graduated and is stationed in Philadelphia so I went there at the end of last month.

Tony deploys Monday morning to Afghanistan and I havent been coping to well with that.

How have you and Mason been doing?
How has your weather been there? We have been in the 100+ here for weeks now.

Margie - thank you for the quick response. My son said they are surrounded by sand and nothing around for miles. lol Is this true? I ask because you were there and I am beginning to think my son is trying to make me feel bad for him.

Hi Margie - my son just went out to CP Naval Hospital. He will be stationed there for 2 yrs I believe. He text me this am briefly and last night. They did not know where he was going so put him in a rm with someone else. My son said he is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by desert? Is this true? The cafeteria was closed at 630pm so he had no dinner, etc. I am hoping today it gets way better for him. I know it will but I still tend to worry. Any info on the hospital or area wd be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
