Mary,
Welcome to the Bangor/Bremerton/Kitsap Sailors and Family group. Sorry I didn't see your request earlier. I see from your message that you recently moved to Bangor. Several of the members live nearby, others, like myself, do not live there but my sailor daughter is stationed there. This is a great group and you will get lots of support and information here.
Again, Welcome Aboard!!!

Welcome Mary - so glad you find our site. Your best bet is to hook up with Karysa, she lives in Washington and is secretary of the Friends & Family Group, knows the USS Seawolf Ombudsman Candice and can help you navigate your way. As mother of a nuke who graduated from Goose Creek in 2008 and he is now part of the awesome USS Seawolf group. I am sure you will have many questions, some we can answer in this space and some for national security reasons we can not. Take care

Hi Mary,
Here is your Ombudsman, she can help you with many things. Donna is spot on with Fleet & Family Service Center info. They have many programs/info. to help through deployments and more.
COMPASS is also a great program to be a part of. They help you navigate the Navy lifestyle, area, and more. Here is the information for OMB and Compass.
