hello everyone matt called me today to let me knoe in june he will be going back out on the uss enterprise for 6 mo not sure if i will see him before that but he calls me every day hope everyone had a great summer get ready for the holidays how time flys have a great day maureen

Thats for the friend request. You know I grew up in Morgantown. Thank you also for your prayers. My Ben is at Al Asad base in Iraq. He says the facility is really pretty good. He also has internet access in his room. He was able to take his laptop with him so we can keep in contact. So you have 2 boys in the Navy. Doesn't it make you proud?

Maureen: I'm Fay from NY-- my son is also there in Norfolk-10 years now and was also on the USS. Enterprise, did 2 tours on ship.. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the Enterprise was going to the yard for overhaul- right after my son came off Nov. 28th 2007. Is the ship back in Norfolk/ with saliors on it again?? I thought this process takes a couple of years the most..Or is there another ship-Enterprise? My son was on the flight deck(checkmate-strikefighters-211...CVN65..Thanks

Welcome to the West Virginia group. Are you from the Webster that is between Grafton & Philippi? I live in Elkins. How long has your son been in? where is he stationed? I have 3 boys in. The oldest is recruiter in the Clarksburg area. He brought the younger 2 in. One is in the reserves in Kentucky. Being deployed in January. The youngest is stationed in California. Going to Japan in January.
