About me:
My name is Melina and i'm 20 years old. My fiance and I have been together for about 2 and a half years. He joined the NAVY in October 2008 and became a Corpsman. He graduated basic training on December 5th, 2008. Then continued A school in Great Lakes and graduated April 10th, 2009. He then got stationed in Camp Pendleton for Field Medical Training Batallion and graduated July 31st. For now, he's working at the clinic and will be there until he gets deployed.

I'm so proud of him and am constantly amazed.

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
No expectations brings no disappointments. You have to learn to live with a back up plan since nothing is ever a sure thing.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Well he told me he got me a ring! And he hasn't proposed yet because he's still deployed, but who knows if he will when he gets home! He told me it was a beautiful ring!

hi Melina it great to hear from you .yea that would be great to meet you i have been trying to make friend since i don't know any one but my hubby. yea this new life is hard but it's worth it. if my hubby wasn't in the navy i could be an at home mom. we wouldn't have a nice not that stressful life think about having no money working 2or 4 jobs to get by with a new baby. but i do want to work or go to school i can't just stay home i need to do something. but don't know if i could leave my baby with strangers its scary. well if you ever want to hang out and meet let me know my schedule is somewhat open ttyl :)

I did Myspace but me Alex decided to delete both our Myspaces together, so it's less conflict...but yeah October is so soon, but he's stationed in CA and I live on the other side of the US in VA, so it's hard but I hope we'll get to see each other when he comes home but if not then I'll for sure see him during Christmas. Deployment isn't as mad Melina...I thought it was going to be horrible, but everything is perfect!
