Hi Michelle,
He got to come home Chrismtas! On a bus! He says he is not sure that route will be taken again.. but it was a way home.. Flight prices were horrible when he was looking and he just wanted to get home. We are enjoying him home very much ... when he is home... haha... at 19 ... they don't stay visiting with Mom and Dad too much. But he goes everywhere with his younger brother 17. He doesn't have to go back until the 4th I think. Hope you get to visit with yours too! It does get easier somewhat. I have been spoiled this year and he has been home three times due to school being on hold. But when he gets stationed somewhere it will probalby get much harder again and we will miss him alot. Merry Christmas

Hi Michelle,

We won't see our son, Ryder, until the end of April or early May. Enjoy your son all you can and I hope you all have a very merry Christmas!

Hi Michelle,
It's good to see another Arkansas out there. I don't get on here much at all anymore. I know that is a bummer, but my son is still in Pensacola waiting on his second A-school. I guess after bootcamp I just became a little more private. He has got to come home twice this year, so as much as I miss him, that had made a world of difference. Best wishes to your sailor and I proud he is a sailor right along with you. write anytime!

Dear Michelle,
Where is Caleb, on a sub, or does he do the night shift?
I feel bad, he doesn't see day light. That is depressing!!
When I used to work in the city, this time of year, with day light savings time, I left work in the dark and returned home in the dark. I used to get so depressed over that. Even though it was only 5 PM, it is dark now.
My Kim left this morning, another Good bye. They do get harder. Now, who knows when I'll see her again.
Let me get going.
Take care and God bless.

Dear Michelle,
I'm learning how hard this can be on us moms. I am proud of Kim, I do support her decision, but it's hard not having her around as well.
The past two weeks, was so nice, having her home. Every night, I check on my children sleeping, it was so nice to see all three of them home.
My son came home, he was away for a year, for wayward troubled boys. Now he's back, and it's nice to see my babies together.
We drove Kim to the airport this morning. Back to those horrible Goodbyes!!

How does Caleb like New Orleans.?
My step sister was there a few years ago, she loved it.
I just noticed, that's he's ships name! HAHAH!!

Let me get going.
You take care and God bless.

Dear Michelle,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing?
I hate the good byes, though!! UGH!!

Where is Caleb now?

This is all still new for me. My daughter Kim finished A School and finally got her orders. She will be on the ship the USS Normandy. stationed in Virginia.
She was home for two weeks, and left this morning. So yesterday, I cooked the Thanksgiving dinner.
Let me get going. I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara
